Although they did have the shrimp we were looking for, he gave the impression that he couldn’t be bothered to help us. We asked questions and tried to direct his attention to the creatures we were interested in and he blew us off, barely glancing at them. We did end up getting 6 shrimp but once we were outside we saw that one was already dead. It was such a poor experience with the gentleman that we didnt even want to go back inside to discuss it.

Such an amazing store. This place has the healthiest fish and plants and very good prices. I’m so happy with my purchases here I wish more businesses took so much pride and care in what they do. The person working was on his phone. Didn’t greet us when we walked in. Was staring at his phone. Walked around the store to see the fish. When I walked up to counter I said excuse me, the guy took another 45 sec or so to finish looking at his phone to even acknowledge me. He seemed like he didn’t want to help so I didn’t make a purchase.

Amazing experience overall, Nathan was extremely helpful and informative when it came to picking out which fish we wanted to add to our tank. He also came out to clean our tank and did a great job with the cleaning and making the tank look full with the existing decor, much prettier than the old company we had. Would 100% reccomend.

Nathan is amazing! He first came to our house to clean our large fish tank and left it looking its best in the last 5 years.
His store has quite an amazing selection of fresh and saltwater fish. Nathan is very knowledgeable and will give you the best advise on what to get or not for your tank. We would highly recommend him for all your aquarium needs.

Nathan runs a great store and can answer all your aquarium questions. He always has something new for sale and maintains a large inventory. Nathan has performed bi-weekly maintenance on my 150 and 70 gallon cycling tanks and he has come to save the day when I had a couple of equipment emergencies. Five star business, honest and fair.

i have been wanting to do a fish tank for a long time, and I finally got to the point where I bought everything I needed and was ready to purchase fish, i was in a local petsmart and I wasn’t given a ton of information, luckily the owner of tropical treasures was there, he was so much help in such a short amount of time, he gave me so much information and is very knowledgeable in the world of fish, i came to his shop and he showed me what I needed for the tank and I even purchased fish from him, he will be my go to from now on, I highly recommend

I am very happy with my purchase. I have been calling stores all over the Colorado area and there were no axolotls anywhere. After calling literally every store in Colorado, this one popped up on my list. I called hoping they had baby leucistic axolotls. They had 4 left. I talked with my best friend, who I would be getting the axolotl with and she told me to try and reserve two. I’m glad I did because when I called again there were only two left. I reserved them for only $5 extra! Which is pretty good because the guy had to hold them for a few days before I could come and pick them up. Very happy with my purchase! My friend and I went together and now we both have our amazing little babies. I definitely recommend this shop. I will include a picture for anyone who is curious what they look like.

The owner was very patient and helpful in helping my 6yo pick out fish for her 10 gallon tank three weeks ago. She ended up getting 6 Cherry Barbs and a guppy. All of the fish are very healthy and active, and a lot of fun to watch. I absolutely plan to shop here again when we upgrade to a bigger tank.
